The best-kept secret in Tahoe National Forest

Everyone drives right past us.

Tucked in a quiet hollow behind Soda Springs, Serene Lakes stays peaceful while Truckee and Donner — just 15 minutes down the hill — stay packed. Two spring-fed lakes, a private beach that's all yours, and trails in every direction. Reno is 45 minutes away, Sacramento about 90.
